Dear Parents,
My name is Mr. Kenne I will be teaching your kids English in the course here that Blagavest is providing! Before I get into how my class is going to be ran I would like to share a little bit about me! I grew up in the United States, Bullhead City AZ to be exact! I come from Pastor Chuck and Lynda’s church out there! I have been coming to Bulgaria for the last three years and I plan on staying here as long as the Lord will allow! The Lord called me to Children’s Ministry and has blessed me with the best calling in my eyes anyways! I have Taught Sunday School for the past 4 years as well as taught in a pre-school for the past two! Some other things I have done in my community is play Football for over 13 years as well as coached for the past three years! I have worked with kids that have special needs as well as worked with kids in my mom Kindergarten class where she has taught at the same school for over twenty years!
Class Structure
My class is broken into sections for example the first three weeks is going to be about Letter recognition as well as the sound each letter makes! Then we will move on to vowels and then on to putting letters together to make different sounds which will eventually move into reading! I am not going to stress so much on the writing of the letters because this is a starter class maybe as the class progress I can try and work it in but really I will probably just introduce writing to them and leave it for a more advance class because in my research it is not affective in a starter class it just creates a lot of frustration.
Test’s And Homework
Your Child will be receiving a folder with his/her name on it! This folder is to come to class every class time and leave with them! It is your job as the parent to check this folder there will be notes from me to you in there, your Childs homework will be in there so it is very important! Your child will receive homework after every class period it will be simple don’t worry and it will be in English however! Every three weeks is a test week the first test will be on the alphabet! You will see a score on the test it will either be a 1,2,3,or 4. 1=Student does not get it at all 2= student is needs some more work 3= student knows material ok 4=student gets the material well.

This website is built to help you at the end of every class I will post a video go over what we did in the class for that day and provide the answers to the homework for you to help your child with! As well as post things such as the parent letter up and Homework assignments! On this website there is a thing called Blogroll and it has a bunch of helpful links to help you out! One Link is called “Mingovill” this is very useful site full of games to help your child learn English! We will be using it in my class at some point! Teachers Pen: I am very excited to start this English course I have been working hard to get everything ready and have got a lot of neat planned I hope you enjoy! I want to share a scripture with you that is dear to my heart its Matthew 19:14 “Jesus said let the little children come to me and don’t hinder such as these for they belong to the kingdom of heaven!”. Let that be our hearts let’s do our best to give children the most that we can being careful not to stumble them but rather show them Christ and all he can do for them!

Казвам се Кени и ще преподавам английски на децата ви в курса, който “Блага вест” организира. Преди да обясня как ще протичат часовете, бих искал да споделя нещо за себе си. Израснал съм в Съединените щати – Булхед сити, Аризона по-точно. Идвам от църквата на пастор Чък и Линда. Посещавам България през последните три години и планирам да остана тук толкова дълго, колкото Господ даде. Господ ме е призовал към детско служение и според мен ме е благословил с най-доброто призвание! Преподавах в неделното училище през последните четири години, както и в предучилищната през последните две. Други неща, с които съм се занимавал: играя футбол повече от 13 години, а през последните три бях и треньор. Работил съм с деца със специални нужди, както и с деца от групата на майка ми в детската градина, където тя преподава повече от 20 години.
Структура на курса:
Курсът ми е разделен на части. Например първите три седмици ще бъде относно разпознаването на буквите и звуците, на които отговаря всяка буква. После ще се занимаем с гласните и след това със свързването на букви, които произвеждат различни звуци, което накрая ще прерасне в четене. Няма да наблягам много на изписването на буквите, защото това е курс за начинаещи. Може би с напредването мога да опитам и да поработя върху това. Вероятно просто ще им представя писането и ще го оставя за друг по-напреднал клас, защото според мои проучвания не е ефективно в курс за начинаещи, тъй като създава повече объркване.
Тестове и домашни:
Вашето дете ще получи папка с името си. Тази папка трябва да се носи всеки път в клас и после да си тръгва с детето! Вашата задача като родители е да проверявате папката. В нея ще намирате бележки от мен за Вас и домашните работи на детето Ви, затова е много важна! Детето Ви ще получава домашно след всяко занятие, то ще е лесно, не се притеснявайте, ще бъде и на английски.
На всеки три седмици ще има тест. Първият тест ще бъде върху азбуката.

В края на всеки урок в него ще публикувам видео за това какво сме правили по време на урока този ден и ще дам отговори на домашното за Вас, за да помагате на детето си. Ще публикувам и неща като настоящето писмо и домашните задачи. На сайта има нещо, което се нарича блогрол (Blogroll) и има много полезни линкове. Единият линк се казва “Mingovill” – това е сайт пълен с игри, които ще помогнат на детето Ви да учи английски. Ще го използваме по време на курса в даден момент.
